Two Wash. DC Area Non-Profits Run A Combined Convention
SITUATION: Two public health non-profits, one that has worked with LSS Associates and one that had not, combined to run their regular joint 2008 Annual conference of both memberships. LSS Associates was selected because of its prior performance for one of the non-profits. On this joint conference, LSS Associates achieved record level sponsorship sales, reaching almost double the sponsorship dollars raised in the prior joint conference.

"As the one non-profit that had not had experience with LSS Associates, we were concerned about what results they would achieve. To our delight, LSS Associates achieved record sponsorship sales, helping make our conference a big financial success."

A Washington, DC Area Healthcare Non-Profit Member Association
SITUATION: This long standing and successful member association decided in late 2005 to hold a second major national conference (in addition to their regular annual conference) in February, 2006. Put together on short notice, it drew excellent attendance based on its primary topic and the association's reputation among members. But vendor, exhibitor and sponsor participation was lacking. For 2007 they contracted early with LSS Associates to expand vendor and sponsor participation. Based on our success, they contracted with us for 2008. Based on our 2008 success, they contracted with us for 2009.

"I want to thank you for your results on behalf of our organization, and our just completed third occurrence of our February conference. Each year you have helped us increase the number of exhibitors, and each year sponsorship sales have grown substantially. In particular, in 2007 and 2008 you signed multiple companies as sponsors who did not even participate in the prior year. You have done all this while dealing with our community of exhibitors and sponsors with a high level of professionalism. Thanks for a great job! We look forward to continuing to work with you on our future conferences."
